Chainsaw protection to EN381-5, Class 1, Design A, with additional kidney protection.Zippered bib pocket, hip pocket, fully elastic braces and adjustable waist. Extremely robust, long lasting, tried and tested by forest workers over the years - STIHL's STANDARD clothing also has outstanding breathing properties. Dirt and water resistant, the outer material additionally provides good thermal insulation: original Beaver mixed fabric comprising 50% cotton and 50% nylon. Fabric weight 240 g/m2.

STIHL protective chainsaw trousers provide protection against cuts to the legs based on an intelligent principle: when the chain cuts through the first of several layers of fabric, bundles of long high-strength special fibre are pulled out and block the sprocket, bringing the chain to a standstill and considerably reducing the risk of injury.
